After completing a year at Teach for India, Ankur is currently working on building his third series venture. The pilot phase of the same is scheduled for mid-2015. Based out of Pune, Ankur consults for several colleges and schools on topics related to Youth Empowerment, Travel, Youth Opportunities and Global Education. He has also been a speaker at TEDx editions of IIT Kanpur, NIT Calicut, SRM Ramapuram and Jai Hind College.
Graduated from National Institute of Fashion Technology, Bengaluru (Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India) in June 2014, Ankur was born in the town of Duliajan in the state of Assam, India; where he completed his schooling from Delhi Public School, Duliajan.
His travel experiences span to over 43 countries at the age of 21. He also had been to several exchange programs including The Swiss Textile College (Schweizerische Textilfachschule STF), as well as the renowned ENSAIT University (Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Industries Textiles) in Lille, France.
His filed of co-curriculars include sports (being a national level Table Tennis player), content writing (writing for the likes of CNet, Mashable, Deslabs, etc.) and a few others. His is an absolute foodie and loves to discover places and culture through its culinary experience.
Coming onto the field of entrepreneurship, one of his biggest projects was a social enterprise called ‘CampusWriting‘. Aimed with a simple belief that our emotions should be given a vent or a way to be expressed without fear. Began as a simple online platform to shout out one’s emotions without a fear of revealing identity, it went on to become India’s fastest growing self-help portal with over 1.5 million hits on average during its peak days. He had a successful exit when the venture was acquired in June 2014.

An important stepping stone in his life was being picked to be a part of the G20 Summit, Cannes 2011 and being a part of history in it making. Being present as a youth diplomat at the event, opened up a whole new world of travel and experiences down the years. Following the event, he has been to several other inter-governmental meets like World Future Energy Summit, Global Entrepreneurship Summit and APEC Summit to name a few.
Besides that, he has also been invited to some of the renowned International Conferences like the Harvard Conference & Harvard Asia Conference (Seoul, Taipei), World Business Dialogue, Germany and Education Without Borders, Dubai.
One of the recent achievements was being called in as a mentor by The Climate Reality Project, to work alongside US Senator, Mr. Al Gore in training 500+ Climate Leaders this year. He has also been invited by the Ministry of Finance, Malaysia and StartUp Malaysia to mentor upcoming start-ups in Kuala Lumpur during the ASEAN Entrepreneurship Summit 2015.
